Dr. ShanJiang from University of Mississippi Visits SKLGME

June 6th, Professor Shan Jiang, approval of SKLGME's open fund, Doctor of University of Mississippi, visit SKLGME and had an academic exchanges, and delivered an academic report with the title "Multiscale Modeling and Simulation of Engineering Materials and Structures". The report was hosted by WANG Bin, associate researcher of SKLGME.
Dr. Jiang introduced the application of multiscale simulation on multidisciplinary engineering materials and high energy mixtures with a definite state. He explained on continuous medium scale/macro scale material point method, nanoscale molecular dynamics and mesoscopic scale deals with a particular calculation and material point method based on molecular dynamics and generalized interpolation. After the report, teachers and students had in-depth exchanges and dicussion with Dr. Shan Jiang. In addition, Dr. Jiang will conduct a one-week collaborative study with SKLGME.
Dr. Shan Jiang has a doctorate in civil engineering and computational mechanics, and carries out computational chemistry postdoctoral work. Now he is an assistant professor of department of mechanical engineering at the University of Mississippi, his main research directions are multi-scale modeling, advanced material numerical simulation and engineering structure calculation analysis under limit conditions.
