郑宏 男，1964年5月出生。中国科学院武汉岩土力学研究所研究员，中国科学院研究生院博士生导师，“岩土力学与工程国家重点实验室”副主任，“湖北省防灾减灾重点实验室”主任。 

    1985年毕业于东北工学院(现东北大学)机械系，获学士学位；同年考入该校研究生院，1988年1月毕业，获固体力学硕士学位，同年被分配至中科院武汉岩土力学研究所工作；2000年10月获中科院研究生院岩土工程博士学位。 

    分别于1993年和1996年被中科院破格提拔为副研究员和研究员；1997年6月至1998年10月，北海道工业大学访问教授，日本软脑株式会社高级职员；1995年7月至2001年7月间的部分时间，香港大学Research Associate；2006年获首届楚天学者成就奖（3年一届，每届3人）；2007年获湖北省科技进步二等奖（第一）；2008年获中国岩石力学与工程学会自然科学一等奖（第一）、教育部自然科学二等奖（第一）；2011年获国际计算岩土力学学会（IACMAG）“杰出贡献奖”（Excellent Contributions Award）。 

    现任《岩石力学与工程学报》、《岩土力学》编委，国际岩石力学学会中国国家小组成员，中国岩石力学与工程学会物理与数值模拟专委会副主任委员、中国力学学会岩土力学数值方法专委会常委。

    4) 国务院三建委三峡库区三期地质灾害防治高切坡防护工程科研项目专题：确定高切坡潜在滑面的方法研究，批准号：2008SX01-2，主持人，2008年1－2010年12月，经费50万，结题；
